Think it is easy to turn the events in your life into a metaphor using a combination of birds, deadly plants and jellyfish? It really is. Using some significant events in my life, I created this series of paintings which I showed at the French Bar in Asheville in August of 2010. Despite the fact that the French Bar went out of business a week later I still managed to sell all but one of these.
